Health plan members can provide consent to have their data shared with third-party applications via the Patient Access API. The Provider Directory API facilitates third-party developers to connect to Health Plan provider directories.

Follow these steps to register your application and obtain authorization to use Alignment Healthcare FHIR APIs.
To request API access, click the button below to start the registration process and submit developer/application details. You will need to select the API you wish to use.
Once your application and security review is completed, you will be notified of successful registration, and you will receive notification that API access has been granted.
After registering for the Provider Directory API, you will be given a Client ID and Client Secret for your application. You will need these (along with the callback URL and scope) to use during authentication.
Note: If you fail to store your application's Client ID and Client Secret, you will have to restart the application registration process.
